Over 13 years ago, a friend and I founded the literacy non-profit Success Won’t Wait. Since then, we have collected over 900,000 books, which means a whole lot of sorting, categorizing, repairing, and boxing for shipment to schools, after school programs, and overseas. I find it rewarding, but it really takes a toll on my hands – from dry skin (from excessive use of Purell), to chipped polish, to broken and even cracked nails. Sometimes my poor hands look a little bit like Scarlett O’Hara’s in Gone with the Wind when Rhett Butler famously demands of her, “What have you been doing with those hands – plowing?!”
Because I love pretty nailpolish, it’s a constant battle to keep my hands looking their best. But, now my hands can “go bare” and still look great.
Get stunning natural nails in no time
The Emjoi Micro-Nail buffs and shines fingernails (and toenails, too) to polish-free perfection. This unique, patent-pending device has a roller that spins 360 degrees and 30 times per second, to gently buff away nail ridges, imperfections, and discoloration, while adding gorgeous shine.
In just minutes, I used the buffer to create beautifully buffed, natural nails (much more quickly and easily than using my old-fashioned, manual buffer block). The unit features two rollers: The Micro-Smooth roller for smoothing ridges and a Micro-Shine roller for shining and polishing.
Now, my nails look glossy and “finished” without the worry of chipped nailpolish.
This nail buffer is convenient and affordable
The Micro-Nail can be used anytime and any place. It’s conveniently compact and battery operated. So small, it easily fits into a suitcase for travel, a tote, or even a purse.
I have found that this is a wonderful alternative to my old 3-sided/3-graded buffing block, which took too much time to use. It’s also more convenient than spending an hour visiting a nail salon – plus it’s much more cost-effective (bonus!).
The best base for those of us who love nailpolish
If you love polish (and who doesn’t?) the Micro-Nail is wonderfully effective for nail preparation. The smooth finish that you get on natural nails allows polish to glide on effortlessly. No more ridges or rough patches to pool polish or mar the brushstrokes.
This nail buffer is a holiday gift your family and friends will truly appreciate
The Micro-Nail is currently a QVC exclusive. In fact, it has been reordered multiple times because it is such a sell-out! Retail $43.
I think that this will be a much-appreciated gift for many on my Holiday Gift List – from tween and teen girls, to busy moms on the go, this is a time saver, a money saver, and an effective beauty tool.
Of course, it’s not just for girls! Any guy whose job description involves appearing in the public eye – from sales presentations, to trade shows, to demos – would appreciate this simple tool. Unfortunately, many guys are hesitant to visit a salon, so the Micro-Nail provides the results they want and need, easily at home.
