Micro Pedi by Emjoi: Get the Perfect Pedi at Home

Since I went back to work full time a few years ago, I have less time than ever for pampering, whether at home or in a salon. And, I confess, winter clothing conceals a multitude of sins. No time to shave? I skip the skirt and choose pants. No energy for a weekend pedicure? Boots are an easy fix.

But, now that spring is approaching, I am rather desperately in need of a major overhaul. I have several big spring events to attend, such as the Winterthur Point-to-Point Steeplechase and the Devon Horse Show. And naturally, I want to look my best!

Luckily, this year my “Spring tune-up” is easier than ever. Because, in addition to my travel favorite, the tiny Emjoi Micro Pedi Nano, I have a Classic version, too.

It’s battery driven, so I never have to worry about finding an outlet. It’s also ergonomically designed to fit perfectly in my hand. The Micro Pedi by Emjoi  even has received the American Podiatric Seal of Approval.

Of course, what really sets the Classic Emjoi Micro Pedi apart from other products on the market is the micro mineral roller. The battery operated roller spins at an amazing 30 times per second, leaving skin soft, supple and sandal-ready … in just minutes! It’s the hygienic and painless way to remove dry skin and calluses, with spa-like results.

The micro mineral roller is safer than blade-based metal scrapers (such as my old Ped-Egg) and far less laborious than a traditional pumice stone.

There are even interchangeable rollers. For example, the Xtreme Coarse Micro Mineral Rollers (sold in a four pack) can easily be inserted when needed. The rollers work in both my Classic and Nano units. And, changing a roller is as simple as pushing a button.

But, the best part is the price. A Classic Emjoi Micro Pedi retails for just $19.95. And, the additional Extreme Coarse Micro Mineral Rollers are just $14.95 (for four). Since a pedicure at any of my favorite Delaware spas is $50 before tip, a weekly habit could turn into a $2,600 a year investment. That’s money I could be using for… shoes!
