With the Omicron variant of COVID-19 raging, recreational shopping has become nothing but a distant memory. These days, if they don’t sell it at the grocery store or the local Walgreens, I simply don’t get it. I would really be in trouble except for… Amazon.
Until the pandemic, I never would have believed how many things Amazon carries. Of course, I can purchase utilitarian items such as kitty food in bulk. And, Amazon is a fabulous source for the latest best-selling books, small kitchen appliances, and random household needs such as flashlights, smoke detectors, and weather stripping.
But, Amazon also carries an incredible range of name brand makeup, skincare, haircare, jewelry, sunglasses, handbags, and even clothing. In fact, the Luxury Stores at Amazon have some of the world’s most sought-after fashion and beauty brands (Prada, Chanel, Burberry and more) all with Amazon Prime delivery.
Is shopping on Amazon as much fun as shopping in an actual store? Well… no. But, given the current world situation, I have become a huge fan. And now, you can too!
