Cover Girl’s Intensify Me! Liquid Liner makes creating the perfect Spring look oh-so-easy!

Cover Girl Intensify Me Liquid EyelinerBack in my pageant days, I had one very funny friend who made the entire experience so much fun. Once when asked, “What’s the most important thing you have learned from competing in the Miss America system?” she stated (with tongue firmly in cheek), “How to apply liquid eyeliner in a moving car!”

Back in the day, that was actually quite a feat, since liquid liners were equipped with tiny brushes for application. One false move and you winded up looking more like Marilyn Manson than Marilyn Monroe!

Luckily, today there is a better option for those of us who favor liquid eyeliner. Cover Girl’s new Intensify Me! Liquid Liner gives the control of a pencil because there’s no brush. Instead, a unique paddle shaped tip offers a flat side for thicker lines and a whisper thin side for the most delicate ones.

What I liked? The control you are able to get with this new liquid liner is just unbelievable. The two-sided tip makes creating dramatic eyes simple. Whether you favor cat’s eye, winged, or a clean top line only, the process is easy (probably even in a moving car, although I haven’t tried it yet!).

What I loved? Unlike a pencil, which needs to be sharpened often, the Intensify Me! Liquid Liner is always ready. No points to break, no shavings to dispose of, and the liner will never be whittled down to the size of a nub – making it all but impossible to use.

What I would change? My only complaint is so small, I hesitate to even mention it. But, the cap doesn’t fit on the body of the applicator. So, you need to take the cap off, put it down, then put it back on. Not a problem at home, but, when out and about (there’s that moving car, again) it’s a little inconvenient.

Cover Girl’s Intensify Me! Liquid Liner retails for $8.00 (prices may vary) and is well worth every penny, especially this spring, when dramatic eyes take center stage. In fact, according to a recent Vogue article The Great Eyeliner Grid: Tracing the Kohl-Rimmed Looks of Spring 2015 Fashion Week, “an inky black pencil may be the only tool you need to completely transform your look next season.” Visit Vogue for some amazing inspiration and great looks for Spring!
