My culinary skills are minimal at best. I married an award-winning “hobby chef,” my oldest daughter hopes to open an organic bakery after college graduation, and my youngest daughter’s dream is to attend Le Cordon Bleu in Paris. As you can imagine, my time in the kitchen is mostly limited to picking out wallpaper or changing the curtains with each new season!
Recently, however, we needed a new set of salt and pepper shakers. Naturally, no kitchy kittens, kissing figurines, or Technicolor vegetables would do for me! I was looking for style and I found it in a sleek, modern salt and pepper grinder by Ozeri on Amazon.
The Ozeri Duo Ultra Salt & Pepper Grinder is smart enough to use on any table. The contemporary design features a sturdy stainless steel body, plus Lucite windows, which allow you to see ahead of time when the grinder needs a refill.
As lovely as it is, my husband, daughters and I all agree, the best part of this salt and pepper grinder is the way it works! The lid removes for easy access to the salt and pepper compartments, so refills are a snap (no spilling all over the counter).
It also features two adjustable knobs which allow you to precisely adjust the grind to your liking. My husband likes a coarse grind; the kids and I much prefer a fine grind. So this salt and pepper grinder eliminates all quarrels!
My personal culinary experts also tell me that since there are two compartments, you could easily use this pepper plus another spice, or even two different kinds of pepper corns at once (Nirvana, apparently!).
The Ozeri Duo Ultra Salt & Pepper Grinder retails for $19.95 at Amazon, plus you can receive FREE SHIPPING on orders over $35.
Now, I am off to see what smells so heavenly in the kitchen!
