Herend cache Pot

This stunning vintage HEREND CACHEPOT is designed in the traditional Chinois (SH) pattern. This pattern was only produced from 1985-1991. The multicolored botanical design covers both sides of the piece, which also includes substantial gold embellishments, a rare interior patterned border and golden claw feet on a permanent base. This piece measures 6”x4” across the top of the cachepot, 4”x2.5” at the base and is 4” tall. It is in excellent condition and has the Herend Hungary mark on the underside.

The Herend Porcelain manufactory is a Hungarian manufacturing company, specializing in luxury hand painted and gilded porcelain. Founded in 1826, it is based in the town of Herend near the city Veszprem. In the mid-19th century, it was a purveyor to the Habsburg Dynasty and was preferred by aristocratic customers throughout Europe, and most famously, Queen Victoria of England. Now, the same porcelain favored by royalty can be yours!
