It’s no secret that I love to travel. But recently while in sunny southern Spain I realized… I am not as young as I used to be! Carrying a heavy tote (filled only with essentials, I assure you) through the scenic streets and gardens of the city felt fine in the morning. The interior is equally well designed and organized with a roomy main compartment (easily fitting an extra pair of comfy shoes, snacks and a water bottle). It will even handle a 13.3″ laptop. An interior pocket is perfect for smaller items like a room key.
And, it’s a breeze to carry. The backpack itself is durable but very lightweight (less than 1 1/2 pounds!), as it is made of vegan leather. This also makes it extremely flexible and “squishable” for packing in a suitcase or easily maneuvering it under the airplane seat.
Plus, it’s so cute! Other details include a fringed tassel on the zipper and, in addition to adjustable over-the-shoulder straps, there’s a detachable long shoulder strap in a colorful “guitar strap” style, should you need to switch it up.
As an extra bonus, a small matching cosmetic case comes with the backpack. This a great way to keep any “messy” items like lip gloss and sunblock corralled in your bag as you sightsee. It is even large enough (meaning it fits both of my phones) to be used as a wristlet, by itself.
