Argan Oil Hair Mask Deep Conditions Color Treated Hair

Over the past few years, I have really been enjoying my new (blonder!) hair color. At its best, my hair has vibrant color, is soft and shiny, with beautiful bounce and wave. But, over time, the coloring process is extremely damaging.

So, why is coloring so bad for hair?

According to WebMd, “Hair is fiber, much like wool,” says Paradi Mirmirani, MD, a staff dermatologist at the Permanente Medical Group in Vallejo, Calif. It’s bundled together tightly in the middle and protected on the outside by a cuticle. Highlights and semi-permanent dyes… change the inner structure of the hair, causing a lackluster look and dryness, especially if you frequently color to hide roots or gray hair.”

To combat dullness and dryness, specially formulated products can help tremendously. And, one of the best I’ve found is Royal Formula Argan Oil Hair Mask.

This 100% organic hair mask is a deep conditioning treatment that nourishes overly dry hair. Plus, it’s sodium, paraben and sulfate free. Instead of harsh chemicals, this mask uses rich Argan & Almond Oils to penetrate hair shafts, reversing moisture loss.

It is very easy to use. Simply shampoo as usual. Apply hair mask liberally to wet hair and allow to absorb for several minutes. Then, rinse thoroughly  (If you don’t rinse well enough, hair will look flat, so don’t skimp on this step.) After just one use, I saw smoother, softer, silkier-looking (and feeling!) hair.

Editor Susan Conforte McNeill gives Royal Formula Argan Oil Hair Mask an enthusiatic 5 stars!

Unlike some others I have tried, this Argan Oil hair mask is very, very dense. (The consistency is closer to cake frosting than conditioner.) And, the scent doesn’t have that nutty smell typically associated with an Argan Oil product. Instead, this hair mask has a wonderfully clean scent, reminiscent of fresh linen.

The Royal Formula Argan Oil Hair Mask is available on Amazon Prime for $32.95.

This is a top pick for me. If you have hair that’s become dry from highlights, coloring, chemical treatments, or is sun, chlorine or salt damaged, this is one to try. I highly recommend it!
