Brooch Clusters Make a Luxe Statement

Brooch clusters are Chanel inspired and perfect for fallBrooch clusters burst onto the scene last spring, most notably with a stunning, highly publicized Marc Jacobs embellished denim jacket. I instantly loved the over-the-top look, but not the price tag. So, using my collection of vintage brooches inherited from my grandmother, I improvised with brooch clusters. It was a budget-conscious (but still stylish) solution.

Now, I have some gorgeous new pins to add to the mix. The “5” trio, pictured, is inspired by classic Chanel. The combination of the iconic number 5, a sophisticated handbag, and trademark pearls would surely make Coco proud.

The trio is crafted of nickel-free alloy in a gleaming yellow gold tone. Rhinestones and pearls add the requisite shimmer and sparkle. Plus, enameling in traditional black and white ensures that this trio will enhance everything in my closet.

How to wear brooch clusters

I love to wear these three together as brooch clusters. The trio looks stunning on the lapel of a jacket or on a fall cardigan. But, they also look striking grouped together on totes, handbags, or anchoring a scarf.

Of course, these pins are also lovely enough to be worn singly. Add one to a belt, headband, or at the throat of a blouse.

But, the best way to show off these lovely pins is by using them in a totally unexpected way. Use a brooch cluster on the back of a jacket. Or, at the hem of a skirt. Even try embellishing a swimsuit during a tropical vacation. See The Brooch is Back! Styling Tips You Need Now for more inspiration.

The trio of brooches retails for just $11.00 on Amazon Prime. And, I think that they are such classics, they are destined to become the “vintage” brooches your granddaughter chooses some day!
