Bath Tea Bags from My Spa Life Relax & Refresh

A warm, fragrant bath is one of the best ways I’ve found to relax and rejuvenate. And, with the crazy level of college shopping and packing that has been going on in my house all week, I badly needed a quiet break. Time to put My Spa Chamomile and Chrysanthemum Bath Tea Bags to the test!

These bath products come three to a pack and contain all-natural, essential oils and herbs. They provide an incredibly soothing and aromatic experience. Not only does a “tub full of tea” relieve sore muscles, it also leaves you feeling renewed (and maybe ready for more packing?!).

Why chamomile and chrysanthemum?

The herb chamomile has been used medicinally for centuries. WebMD cites a government study that confirms the herb’s, “use on the skin to reduce swelling” as proven effective, as well as a remedy for skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, chickenpox, and even diaper rash!

And, traditional Chinese medicine has harnessed the calming and anti-inflammatory properties of chrysanthemum in numerous multi-purpose skincare products. In this bath tea, chrysanthemum is used to tackle various skin problems like reducing acne redness and reducing breakouts.

These bath products are simple to use. Simply run a warm bath and drop in the tea bag (literally just like brewing a cup of tea). The herbs and oils infuse the water with a gentle scent that makes you want to linger until the water turns cold.

The bath tea bags do not stain skin or the tub. They do, however, turn water a bright yellow, which frankly, took a little getting used to. And, if you are impatient and try to squeeze the tea bags to diffuse the scent quickly, they may break (guilty, as charged).

So, I advise, simply allowing the bath to “steep.” Then, enjoy!

The My Spa Life Bath Tea Bags retail for $19.99 on Amazon. And, in addition to the Chamomile and Chrysanthemum Bath Tea Bags, My Spa Life also offers a whole host of bath and skincare products. A few of my faves are the Green Seaweed Handmade Soap,  Facial Towelettes Infused With Lavender, Rosemary Leaf, And Japanese Artemisia Princeps and Renewing Almond Milk & Honey Infused W Vitamin E Facial Masks.
