It’s Saturday night and we have casual-with-colleagues-dinner-plans. So, I stand in my closet and wonder… what on earth do I wear out? Luckily, this weekend, I have a secret weapon: Comfy Cuff Diamond Lurex Trouser Socks from Berkshire Hosiery. These trouser socks are the perfect pairing with jeans and heels.
According Who What Wear, one of my longtime, go-to sources for all things trending, “jeans and heels” is still strong this year, “Influencers, editors, and It girls alike have started somewhat of a trend when it comes to jeans-and-heels outfits. Images of the hem of someone’s jeans along with a statement-making heel have flooded out Instagram feeds since early last year. Whether they pair their heels and jeans with a colorful sock or simply let their glitter and pearl adorned shoes do all the talking, there’s no denying the power of a good statement heel–and-denim moment.”
But, socks with heels, you may ask? These Comfy Cuff Diamond Lurex Trouser Socks are called trouser socks, but they are really much closer in construction and weight to tights. They are beautifully sheer (76% Nylon, 9% Spandex), but the band features a double layer of Spandex so they comfortably stay in place, even with the skinniest of skinny jeans.
Best of all, the Berkshire Hosiery Comfy Cuff Diamond Lurex Trouser Socks have a glittery gold finish with a crisscross, diamond patterned leg, which is wonderfully playful. I love the look! (But, do take note that because the metallic finish is a bit delicate, these really should be hand washed in cold water to keep them looking their best.)
The Diamond Lurex Trouser Socks are available in both regular and plus sizes. The regular fits shoe size 6 to 8 ½, and the plus size fits shoe size 9 to 12.
In fact, fit is a huge part of the design process for all of the trouser socks, tights and stockings from Berkshire. Each style is based on actual female fit model’s specifications. So, the regular and plus size styles conform to the shape of one’s leg, providing a natural look (and no ugly sagging or bagging).
And, like all of my faves from Berkshire Hosiery, these are made incredibly well. Retail: $4.99 per pair, plus free shipping at Essential Apparel. To see the entire line, visit Berkshire Hosiery. Jeans and heels… Weekend outfit dilemma solved!
