I have a love-hate relationship with Pinterest. I love the platform because I get such amazing ideas. But, I hate it, too, because there are so many I’d like to try. And, let’s face it… who has the time?
But, one doable project I keep returning to is the button card. I’ve been inspired by many of the handcrafted cards and gift tags I’ve seen since Pinterest launched in 2010. And, I’ve been dutifully saving them in Susan is Crafty ever since.
Now, with a huge stash of beautiful buttons from Happlee Buttons I have made some of my inspiration pieces. And, it was actually quite easy and fun.
The Happlee Buttons package contains between 400 and 600 pieces, in all shapes and sizes. So, with that varied selection, I always had what I needed.
This particular package contains great colors for winter (white snowmen), Christmas (red and green), Valentine’s Day (red on white or white on red) and even St. Patrick’s Day (shamrock green). But, Happlee also offers a spring-y blue and green combination for other projects. Each package retails for $12.59.
I’ve pictured my first attempt. And, although I’ve started out simple, I’m excited to try a bit more detailed pieces. So, keep your eye out for more Happlee Button projects. And, if you have inspiration pieces of your own, please share!
