Interchangeable watch bands mix it up

Interchangeable watch bands are nothing new for me.  Way back in my college days I was already sporting the requisite Timex on a pink grosgrain watch band covered in alligators!

As the ribbon watch band trend quickly faded, I was a little disappointed. The ability to instantly update a watch to perfectly coordinate with an outfit was fun and smart. After all, one watch with many bands is a very budget-friendly way to expand a jewelry wardrobe.

So, when I began to notice that the interchangeable watch band trend had finally returned, I was thrilled. But, the tiny grosgrain band of years past is long, long gone. New looks for 2016 use ballistic nylon bands that complement popular oversized men’s watches.

The 4-piece watch band set from Adebena, pictured, is a perfect example. These nylon watch bands completely change the look of my classic SKMEI men’s watch. Now, I can replace a band in seconds (and look like I wear a new watch every day).

The Adebena watch bands fit most watches with a width of 20 mm. And, they are sized for wrists from 6″ to 8 1/2″ for both men and women.

These interchangeable watch bands not only look great, they are high performance, as well. The ballistic nylon is strong, but soft and comfortable enough to wear often. And, the stainless steel buckles are high quality and durable. The bands are even laser cut to eliminate fraying and are machine washable (use a delicates bag).

I selected the 4-piece set which includes Black, Army Green, Navy/Red, Navy/White/Red. But, it was a difficult choice! Other color combinations include:

  • Navy, Navy/Linen, Black/Grey, Black/Red
  • Navy/Orange, Sky Blue/White, Navy/Lemon, Navy/Pink
  • Navy/Khaki, Black/Red, Navy/White, Sky Blue/White

With so many options, you can change your watch band to match anything (and everything), show team spirit, or just mix it up for fun.

The nylon watch bands retail for just $12.99 for each set of four. To see the other colors, as well as watch band alternatives such as leather, metal mesh, and silicone, visit Adebena.
