When I was a little girl, we had some curtains in our laundry room that were trimmed in fluffy, chenille pom poms… and I was always fascinated by them (granted, I also had an affinity for decorative rickrack and bullion fringe, too!). Although pom pom trim on curtains, duvets, and lampshades has gone waaaay out of style since then, this summer it cropped up in the most unlikely of places – women’s pom pom shorts. Adorable!
For me, pom pom shorts are the embodiment of the young, carefree, and fun-loving attitude of summer. And, I’ve showcased a few of my faves above, but you can find them almost everywhere. Pom poms for summer? I say Rah Rah!
