Last night we made our annual pilgrimage to the Devon Horse Show. Since 1896, the show has been a mecca for horse enthusiasts from far and wide and has grown from a modest one day event to a 10 day celebration of some of the world’s most well-trained and exquisite horses!
In addition to the various classes and exhibition performances, the Devon Horse Show also includes a County Fair. But, before you envision pie eating competitions and tractor pulls, please note that this “fair” is more about an exclusive art gallery, thousands of antiques, and fine wine, plus every item of equine inspired clothing and jewelry imaginable… including the gorgeous Fornash bit bracelet, pictured, which I purchased last night.
The bracelet is a hinged bangle with an enamel face and gold toned horse bit detail. I chose simple black (I was wearing a black dress and naturally wanted to put it on right away). But, this bracelet is also available in cool aqua, spunky orange, shocking pink, classic navy and pure white.
I was unfamiliar with the Fornash brand, so this morning, I did a little bit of research. What I found is that the company is located in nearly Arlington, Virginia and is the brainchild of Stephanie Fornash Kennedy. With thousands of gorgeous bracelets, earrings, and necklaces, plus accessories like handbags, phone cases, and scarves, I discovered that the Fornash collection is a veritable treasure trove!
Not only are the designs lovely and the selection amazing, the prices are incredibly affordable. For example, I was able to snag the bracelet above for only $20! (The bracelet is also sold as part of a set of two compatible designs for $40.)
Below, I’ve showcased a few of my other favorite Fornash bracelets. To see many other must-have pieces, visit Fornash, or shop at one of over 3,000 retails stores in the US, Canada, Europe, Australia and the Caribbean.
