I wear black – a lot of black. From dresses, to boots, to coats, my closet is overflowing with this go-anywhere color.

This season, though, I’ve started taking a “softer” approach and incorporating grey as a stylish, neutral alternative.

Unlike many other neutrals (camel, navy or tan), grey has the advantage of working with absolutely everything in my closet – I can pair it with anything from a bright cherry red sweater to soft pastel pink blouse. Fabulous! And, grey is far less harsh than black (and a bit kinder to my complexion!).

This fall, you’ll find fashionable grey pieces wherever you turn. To help you get started, I’ve highlighted some of my favorite inspiration pieces above.

Will you choose a “shade of grey” this season?
