Roman numeral jewelry has been a favorite of mine for years. Popularized by Tiffany & Co., John Christian and Bulgari, this elegant look is the very definition of a classic. But, with my children’s college costs soaring, the prices of some high-end pieces (John Christian rings run from $750 to $78,000) have simply been beyond my budget. Until now… because I recently discovered the lovely Dorostine Roman Numeral Stud Earrings, pictured.
These stud earrings are an infinitely more affordable version of traditional, lust-worthy Roman Numeral Jewelry. Just $9.99 at Dorostine on Amazon!
Not only are these earrings affordable, they are incredibly well made. They are crafted from high-quality 316L stainless steel and plated in 18k rose gold, using vacuum plating technology. That means they won’t fade, rust or tarnish. Plus they are lead-free and nickel-free, so they are perfect for anyone with sensitive skin.
Of course, what I love best is the look! These stunners have two interlocking rings, symbolizing infinity or everlasting love. One ring is adorned with engraved Roman Numerals and the other with sparkling, AAA-rated cubic zirconia that really catch the light. Although they pack a big style punch, their small size keeps them tasteful and ensures that they won’t ever look overdone or garish.
Their dainty size also makes these earrings extremely lightweight. (The second ring falls just below the earlobe. Total length is about ½ inch.) So, they are comfortable enough to wear all day, or day into night.
And, like pearl studs, or diamond solitaires, these are a timeless style that you will reach for again and again. I like them for work, but the rose gold also makes them trendy enough for weekend wear (pair with a white tee, denim cutoffs and espadrilles, a black cotton strapless romper, or a floor grazing coral maxi dress).
These earrings arrive with a lovely presentation box. So, they would make an easy (and much appreciated!) gift for birthdays, graduations, anniversaries Valentine’s Day or Mother’s Day. (But, do open the box, because they come packed on a card in cellophane inside the box, and you’ll need to transfer them to the velvet backing.)
If you do purchase a pair as a gift, make sure to add a pair of these lovely earrings for yourself, too!
