Flattering Wrap Coats are a “Cinch” for Fall Style

Flattering Wrap Coats are a "Cinch" for Fall StyleBursting onto the scene last year, the wrap coat is still strong this winter. Although there is one crucial difference. After seasons of pretty, but leg-baring short coats, this year, flattering wrap coats (below the knee) are also available.

This is a welcome addition. One of my personal pet peeves is a dress peeking out from below a winter coat. Somehow, it just looks so messy to me!

This season’s wrap coats are also polished and simple. Solid colors, often in bold hues, look stylish and sophisticated. Plus, the self-belt cinched waist is flattering on just about every figure.

Above are a few of my personal faves in a variety of lengths, for work and for play. However, if these aren’t your top picks, the wrap coat is available at every major department store in a huge variety of price points.

A few other affordable options include:

  • Kenneth Cole Wool-Blend Maxi Wrap Coat ($179)
  • Kristen Blake Long Wool Blend Wrap Coat ($269)
  • Ralph Lauren Wool Blend Wrap Coat ($241)
  • Calvin Klein Wrap Coat with Faux-Fur Trim ($192)
