Cardigan sweaters are a sure sign of fall! But this season, the traditional cardigan gets a dramatic makeover. Gone are the staid, buttoned-up “librarian” looks of the past. Today’s cardigan is draped and open, with lots of swing and sass.
One of my faves is the relaxed cardigan from Jxstar & Perfashion, pictured. This is such a cute cardi and is destined to become my casual wear go-to throughout the fall.
The asymmetrical styling – shorter in the back, longer in the front – is incredibly flattering. And, the open draped front (no “grandma” pearl buttons here) gives the piece a breezy feel.
It’s available in two essential colors: ivory and soft gray. Both are wonderfully useful neutrals that will easily coordinate with just about anything in the closet.
Styling is simple. Since this cardi is a jersey knit, I like it best for casual or weekend wear. It’s got the cozy comfort of a hoodie, but the polish of a sweater.
This cardigan is also incredibly soft and has a bit of heft to it. So, it will last long past fall into the frigid winter temps I know are coming soon.
Unlike some pieces I have purchased online, this cardigan is also true to size. It’s available in sizes S-XXL. A breakdown of the sizes includes:
- Small = Bust: 33 in., Waist: 26 in.
- Medium = Bust: 35 in., Waist: 28 in.
- Large = Bust: 37 in., Waist: 31 in.
- XL = Bust: 39 in., Waist: 33 in.
- XXL = Bust: 41 in., Waist: 35 in.
Best of all, this cardigan retails for just $19.99 on Amazon. To see more fresh, casual (and affordable!) looks, visit Jxstar & Perfashion.
