Trapeze Dress: Summer’s Easiest Look

Trapeze Dress: Summer's Easiest LookNeed a go-anywhere dress for summer? Look no further. This summer’s easiest look is the cool and comfortable trapeze dress. A deceptively simple silhouette, this style can be instantly adapted to a night on the town, a day at the office, a weekend BBQ, or a walk on the beach.

Solid colors offer the most flexibility. And, there are so many from which to choose!

Necklines vary from the more business-like shirt dress (paired with cork wedges for a fab Casual Friday ensemble), to a breezy tank style (paired with gladiator sandals and a straw hat for a weekend excursion), plus everything in between!

Most are available in easy-care cotton jersey, which is packable (just hang in the shower to steam out any wrinkles). So, a simple trapeze dress makes a must-have addition to your vacation wardrobe.

Some of my favorites, which are all priced well under $100, are above.

One important note: These dresses just cry out for a lovely, long pendant. I’ve highlighted two trendy looks I personally adore. But, if you want more options, Macy’s has an incredible selection (over 160 necklaces!), from tassels, to metallic feathers, to natural stones in a wide variety of price points.
