Wantable Makeup Subscription Boxes

Wantable Subscription Makeup BoxSubscription boxes have taken the US by storm! If you have an interest, there’s a box for that – from vegan food lovers, to pet enthusiasts, to new moms. Of course, fashion-savvy girls know that makeup subscription boxes are best! And, although there are several companies that bring the latest makeup trends right to your door, my personal favorite? Wantable Makeup Subscription Boxes. Wantable helps you create a unique customer profile by asking a series of in-depth product and personality questions. This information is used to introduce you to an assortment of products perfectly suited to your own personal taste.

The customer profile process is incredibly thorough, so be prepared. For example, lipstick choices include matte, glossy, shimmer, brights, darks, sheers… and I haven’t even started on  lip stains, glosses, pots, or pencils!

Once your profile is complete, the fun really starts. Wantable’s in-house and guest curators hand-pick beauty products from hundreds of quality boutiques, specialty stores, and premium vendors, selecting the best matches for your stated preference. No two boxes are ever the same.

Each month’s box contains four to five makeup products or beauty tools. Plus, these items are never “samples,” but full sized products.

My own personal box contained four full sized products including a Manna Kadar lash primer. This is a product I had never used before and I am now a convert. As we age, our lashes often thin. The lash primer creates longer, lusher, plumper lashes that still look natural (just younger). I don’t know how Wantable chose this product for me (other than my age) but I am so glad they did!

Also included in my box was a MiA BellaZZa blush. The blush is gorgeous with my skin tone and is a mineral formulation, which I love. Oil free. Talc free. Dye free. Fragrance free. Perfection!

From MyFace Cosmetics, I received a high definition lip pencil in beige. Although I love to pore over high fashion magazines and attend fashion shows when I can, in my day to day life I favor a more natural makeup style. This lip pencil is the best way I’ve found to help lipstick stay put and eliminate bleeding and feathering.

Finally, I was introduced to lipstick by Michael Marcus. The shade is a medium mauve-pink matte. It’s my new go-to color, works with everything (even vibrant holiday reds), and really lasts. I hope to try more from Michael Marcus – this lipstick is of excellent quality.

The retail cost of my entire box was over $75. Plus, there was even a bonus sample of Instant Skin Tightener (how did they know?).

Not only was this a fun experience, Wantable’s selections for me were absolutely spot-on.
