Pantone Color of the Year: Emerald Green

Emerald Green - Pantone Color of the YearBy now, most of you have read that the official Color of the Year, according to Pantone Color Institute, is emerald green (more formally as Pantone 17-5641). According to Pantone, this is a vivid, verdant shade of green. The color “enhances our sense of well-being further by inspiring insight, as well as promoting balance and harmony,” says Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute.

“Since antiquity, this luminous, magnificent hue has been the color of beauty and new life in many cultures and religions,” says Eiseman. “It’s also the color of growth, renewal and prosperity – no other color conveys regeneration more than green.”

With the holidays just around the corner, emerald green is a stunning choice. I’ve found three lovely dresses that will help you celebrate… in style!
