Bobby Pins: Surprising Spring Trend

Bobby Pins: Updated and sophisticated for springI’ve used bobby pins to control my wild locks for as long as I can remember. But in years past, the goal was simply to bury the pins within curls, twists, or an up-do that looked (I hope) effortless.

Today, bobby pins are stars in their own right! They are still practical as a sure-fire method to anchoring wayward strands, but this Spring designers have elevated the lowly bobby pin to the status of “jewelry for the hair.”

Whether adorned with baubles, faux gems or scrollwork, this season’s vintage-inspired bobby pins are a must have. The pieces I’ve highlighted are some of my personal favorites, however, a huge selection of styles can be found in every price range.
