Add summer drama with scarves from Ellen Brook

Okay, so I’m a bit of a drama queen. I admit it. Not so good for my husband and family, but fabulous for my wardrobe.

Especially in summer, when tanks, capris and sundresses are all anyone seems to wear, I like to add a little drama to the mix with a seriously huge statement necklace, notice-me shoes, or (my personal fave) a great scarf. Textile artist Ellen Brook’s Works on Silk are some of the best.

Ellen’s wraps and scarves are very lightweight and instantly transform any outfit. The scarves and wraps are made of floaty chiffon and these one-of-a-kind creations are beaded around the edges for a little extra summer flair.

Two of my personal favorites are pictured, but since of Ellen’s work is custom created the colors and images are up to you — let your imagine run wild
