Okay, so I’m a bit of a drama queen. I admit it. Not so good for my family, but fabulous for my wardrobe. Especially in summer, when tanks, capris and sundresses are all anyone seems to wear, I like to add a little drama to the mix with a seriously huge statement necklace, notice-me shoes, or (my personal fave) scarves from Ellen Brook. A incredibly talented textile artist, her Works on Silk are some of the best.
Ellen’s wraps and scarves are very lightweight and instantly transform any outfit. The scarves and wraps are made of beautiful, floaty chiffon and these one-of-a-kind creations are beaded around the edges for just a little extra summer flair.
One of my personal favorites is pictured, but since of Ellen’s work is custom created the colors and images are up to you — you can let your imagine run wild.
To see more of Ellen’s breathtaking creations, including wall mounted art, hanging silks, and of course, fabulous scarves, wraps and throws visit Works on Silk.
