Please don’t judge me, but I admit that I’ve been binging on Season 2 of Emily in Paris. Sweet and insubstantial, it’s the television equivalent of cotton candy. And, while the story line may be somewhat thin… oh, the fashion! Lighthearted, colorful and take-no-prisoners-bold, it’s true aspirational dressing for a French escape. C’est charmant!
Sadly, I am not a 20-something living the city life in Paris. So, borrowing any of the looks completely – Dolce & Gabbana patchwork dress, tall lavender Skorpios boots, splashy lemon yellow Vassilis Zoulias jacket – probably won’t be happening. But, adding some quintessential “Emily style” is easy with Funny Squared socks paired with jeans and loafers, or peeking out from my short suede boots.
