Horse Bit Jewelry Must-Haves For The Horse-Obsessed

Horse Bit Jewelry From FORNASH Must-Haves For The Horse-ObsessedThis weekend, I spent a glorious day outdoors at the first horseshow I’ve been able to attend in over a year. The weather was sunny and warm, the venue (Bridge Acres in Lancaster, Pennsylvania) was idyllic, and the company (lifelong friend and godmother to my youngest daughter) was the best. Oh, and then there was the horse show itself! As a longtime equestrian and lover of all things horses, a day spent watching talented riders put beautiful horses through their paces simply can’t be beat. To get into the spirit, I donned my favorite horsey togs and of course, horse bit jewelry from FORNASH.

I am such a fan of this company and discovered their equestrian themed pieces at the world-famous Devon Horse Show back in 2015. That first enamel horse bit bracelet sparked a frenzy of collecting for myself and my daughter, as she prepared to leave for university. Bangles and earrings began arriving in the mail with alarming regularity. But, it’s a bit easy to get carried away, because not only are FORNASH’s pieces beautiful, they are so affordable.

For example, the Horsebit Earrings, shown, are a mere $20.00. At 5/8″ wide x 1″ long, these lovely earrings are small enough to complement any casual outfit, and large enough to make a splash with a dressier ensemble. They are available in silvertone and have surgical steel posts (so they really stay put, even if you are riding).

Horse Bit Jewelry From FORNASH Must-Haves For The Horse-ObsessedI also love the Horse Bit Jockey Bracelet, pictured, which retails for $25.00. This sophisticated piece is a subtle nod to an equestrian obsession. Available in either silvertone or goldtone, I particularly like this bracelet on the same wrist as a sleek watch (this simple, but totally gorgeous watch from Nordgreen Watches is a great example).

For daily wear, nothing beats the Long Baby Horsebit Necklace, which is available for $38.00. The delicate design is available in goldtone or silvertone, so it’s affordable enough to justify both!  The necklace is 35” long and complements everything from a cashmere turtleneck to a plain white tee.

Now that I’ve been able to attend one amazing horse show, I am anxious for more. The Bridge Acres lineup continues monthly throughout the summer, culminating in a Championship Event in September. Guess who’s going to be the best dressed spectator at the rail?
