This moisturizing cream is formulated for ages 45 and up and is designed to minimize wrinkles, while improving the signs of aging. And, I recently had the chance to test Age Perfect for myself. My only question… why did I wait so long?!
L’Oreal Paris Age Perfect Rosy Tone Moisturizer is as close to an instant fix as any product I’ve ever tried. Upon application, skin immediately feels softer and more supple. Fine lines and wrinkles are visibly reduced. Best of all, this cream helps rejuvenate skin with the healthy, rosy glow of youth. And, with continued use, the results just get better.
This cream is designed for mature skin, which requires special care. According to Medline, “With aging, the outer skin layer (epidermis) thins, even though the number of cell layers remains unchanged. The number of pigment-containing cells (melanocytes) decreases. The remaining melanocytes increase in size. Aging skin looks thinner, paler, and clear (translucent).” This explains why older skin can look dull and lifeless, lack radiance and a rosy tone, while feeling dehydrated.
Targeted ingredients make all of the difference. Age Perfect Rosy Tone Moisturizer is formulated with Imperial Peony Extracts and Lipohydroxy Acid (LHA).

These components work to help protect the skin by neutralizing free-radicals present in the environment, according to the Journal of Cosmetic Science.
LHA is an important and gentle exfoliant. The National Institute of Health (NIH) says, “The slow penetration of lipohydroxy acid results in an individual cell-by-cell exfoliation that is associated with excellent tolerability, compared to its cousin salicylic acid. When dead skin cell buildup is sloughed away from the skin’s surface, it can appear clarified and refreshed.”
