Have you ever found an accessory that instantly becomes your go-to? A few seasons ago, I received a pair of the Madeline vegan short suede boots, shown, and they have been a favorite ever since. My original pair were khaki, but I have purchased others since then, including an incredibly useful black suede.
Why do I love these vegan short suede boots so much? They have a low, 1 ½ inch stacked heel, so they are great for walking (even all day long). The cushioned foot beds with sturdy, non-slip soles mean I can even navigate the uneven ground with ease. And, the low cut ensures that I’ll never get too hot, since October weather can range from the low 50’s at night, to the high 70’s by mid-day.
Plus, they go anywhere! Apple and pumpkin picking, hayrides, fall festivals and horse shows – these vegan suede boots are easy to style no matter where your destination is. Pair them with jeans and a sweater, a casual long sleeved tee-shirt dress and plaid scarf, a mini and denim jacket… The possibilities are endless.
But, what I like best about these boots is that, although they channel a slightly Western boot vibe, they aren’t overtly “cowboy.” There’s no fancy stitching or details to date them. In fact, they are extremely streamlined and simple, incorporating subtle details, such as a zip up back and gently curved sides that are fashionable, not rugged country. I can wear them forever!
