Since I was snowed in today due to the “bomb cyclone” which is hammering the entire East Coast, I thought it was a great opportunity to indulge in a little pampering! Here are my Top 5 Beauty Essentials for an at-home spa day:
1.) Royal Formula Argan Oil Hair Mask. This 100% organic hair mask is a deep conditioning treatment that nourishes overly dry hair. Plus, it’s sodium, paraben and sulfate free. Instead of harsh chemicals, this mask uses rich Argan & Almond Oils to penetrate hair shafts, reversing moisture loss. After just one use, you’ll see smoother, softer, silkier-looking hair.
2.) Anavita Foaming Facial Cleanser. This is an incredibly gentle wash that completely removes excess oil and impurities, but never leaves skin feeling (or looking) stripped or depleted. This cleanser owes its success to natural botanicals including soothing Aloe Vera, Chamomile and Olive Leaf. Plus, it does not contain harsh chemicals, parabens, harsh preservatives, synthetic colors or fragrances, phthalates, sodium lauryl/laureth sulfate, or petroleum oils, making it a perfect choice for anyone with sensitive skin.
3.) Vivo Per Lei Self-Heating Face Mask. This mask provides an amazing spa-like experience. It contains Vitamin A Retinol, Bentonite, Kaolin, and Aloe Vera, as well as Vitamins C and E. So, this mask works best on dry or mature skin to improve skin texture and appearance. It helps diminish the look of both fine lines and deep wrinkles. And, the soft, smooth skin revealed is healthier and younger looking.
4.) Bumble Road Bath Bombs. These bath bombs are 5.0 oz. each and oversized (about 1 ½ times the diameter of a golf ball). And, the generous size means that only one bomb is needed, even if you have an enormous garden soaking tub. The bombs are crafted using a mixture of Scented Essential Oils, Shea Butter and Epsom Salts. A long soak is blissful and will leave your skin soft and silky smooth.
5.) Emjoi Micro-Pedi. This is an amazing product and one of my favorite finds ever! The micro mineral roller is safer than blade-based metal scrapers (such as my old Ped-Egg) and far less laborious than a traditional pumice stone. The battery operated roller spins at an amazing 30 times per second, leaving skin soft and supple in just minutes! It’s the hygienic and painless way to remove dry skin and calluses, with professional looking results.
I’m enjoying my at-home spa day so much, maybe I’ll leave the snow shoveling until tomorrow…
