New Year’s Resolutions… we all have them! And, one of mine is to become fitter in 2018. Of course, I am not alone. Fitness goals are consistently one of the top resolutions made across the country each January.
This year, I am not using my home gym (which I somehow “forget” to use) and am joining my local Planet Fitness. But, since I will be working out in public, not in the privacy of my home, I need to step up my activewear style. Even though Planet Fitness is a Judgement Free Zone, my son’s ratty high school lacrosse jersey or my daughter’s discarded rowing capris are simply not going to cut it.
And, fashionable activewear can be hard to find. True, activewear is meant to be worn in the pursuit of fitness, not fashion. But, this sporty jacket from Easther is not only functional, it’s also incredibly stylish!
Made from 65% polyester and 35% cotton, this jacket is perfect for walking or running on a chilly day. It has just the right amount of stretch and softness, but it also breathes.
Plus, this jacket is cute enough to wear far beyond the gym. In fact, it is so good-looking, I won’t mind stopping at Starbucks or the dry cleaners on the way home from a workout.
The asymmetrical zip up detailing and “sweater’ style sleeves give this jacket a chic and distinctive look. In fact, I think it could easily be worn as a regular, casual jacket for weekends with jeans.
This jacket is available in sizes Small through XX Large. I found that it runs just a smidge large. So, if you are wavering between two sizes, I would go with the smaller size.
I chose the charcoal gray because it’s such a wonderful neutral. But, the jacket is also available in a warm chocolate brown and a classic black. Amazon Prime Retail: $33.97
Now, I’m all ready for a fashionable, and fit, 2018!
