St. Tropez Self Tan Extends Your Summer Glow

St. Tropez self tan is easy to use and lets you extend your "summer glow" all fall long!Beginning in the 1920s, Saint-Tropez attracted famous figures from the world of fashion and beauty. Since then, legends from Coco Chanel to Kate Moss have flocked to this tiny gem on the French Riviera. St. Tropez may be best known, however, as the playground of the iconic sun-kissed beauty Brigitte Bardot in And God Created Woman. To get the bronzed look that young Bardot immortalized, without spending hours in the sun’s damaging rays, I’ve discovered St. Tropez Self Tan.

This is the easiest, safest way to get a “healthy” glow, without risking any skin damage. It instantly creates the illusion that you’ve A) spent hours lounging on your yacht or B) just returned from a fabulous vacation destination across the globe. Both scenarios work for me!

How to use St. Tropez Self Tan

This product is very easy to use. It’s recommended that you exfoliate 24 hours prior to use, as well as right before use (I made a lemon sugar scrub with my new Natrogix essential oils). Then you just use the applicator mitt to smooth it on (a smooth, soft washcloth will work, too).

This self tan is very quick to dry. So, quick, long sweeps are important to avoid any streaking. And, you may want to experiment first on a body part that won’t show, so that you can determine how much product to use (and to avoid any drips, which look horrific). It’s actually quite easy to master.

Thankfully, unlike other self tan products, St. Tropez Self Tan mousse doesn’t smell badly. In fact, its scent is a little like a high-end hair salon product or a scented candle.

And, it is billed as long-lasting. Although, if you want to avoid too much fading, you will definitely need to reapply occasionally. Some fading is normal, but salt water and chlorine seem to hasten the process.

Still, this is the easiest self tan product I’ve ever used. And, it has the most natural looking results. There is none of the orange-y, obviously bottled tan color. It’s the perfect way to extend your summer glow all fall long.

The St. Tropez Self Tan retails for $64.35 at The Fashion and Beauty Store. Certainly less than the price of a ticket to the Riviera!
