I once got a body shaper called Lipo in a Box. And, while it didn’t give precisely the same dramatic results as major surgery, it was pretty darned wonderful. That’s the same way I feel about Instant Facelift Concentrate by Mediderm.
Catchy name aside, this really is an amazing product!
Instant Facelift provides both skin lifting and skin tightening for younger looking skin. It comes in a pump bottle and you simply smooth it onto a clean face, right where you want to erase fine lines. According to the Mediderm literature, the concentrate, “creates a tensile matrix upon contact; this is what tightens your skin and firms its texture.”
I have no idea what this means, except that it works wonders.
As I normally do when testing beauty products, I used this on one side of my face only, to better gauge the extent of the changes. What I found was that the fine lines, particularly the laugh lines around my mouth, were vastly diminished.
This is not an exaggeration. Vastly.
The deeper lines were still in evidence. But, short of surgery, I think they are here to stay. And, I was thrilled with the transformation nonetheless.
Another benefit is that this product dried within seconds (although my face still felt soft and smooth, not dry at all). And, it provided instantly noticeable results, unlike other products I have tried that require weeks of dedicated use before any change was apparent.
One note: The directions on the bottle caution not to use makeup on top of the Instant Facelift, although some concealer can be mixed in before applying. Personally, I have used a bit of mineral makeup on top and I haven’t had a problem with caking or clumping. But, heavy foundation may become gummy.
Mediderm’s Instant Facelift Concentrate is available from Mediderm Laboratories. A 1.4 oz. bottle retails for $19.97 and will last a long while, since such a tiny amount is needed per use.
