National Wear Red Day – Go Red For Women!

Did you know that heart disease is the #1 killer of women, killing more women than all forms of cancer combined? Today is National Wear Red Day – Go Red For Women. Americans nationwide will take women’s health to heart by wearing red to show their support for women’s heart disease awareness.

In 2003, the American Heart Association, along with the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute created National Wear Red Day to raise awareness of this critical issue. Each year, on the first Friday in February, millions of women and men come together to wear red, take action and commit to fighting this deadly disease.

Not sure what to wear? Above are a few of my favorite (and very chic!) ways to Go Red! For more design and style inspiration (including plenty of red) please visit Susan’s Style on Pinterest.
