Last summer, celebrities and fashionistas alike embraced the earring jacket. While I loved the look, I was wary. With the speed at which trends come and go (H&M anyone?), I was hesitant to invest in a look that would be labeled oh-so-last-season… I am happy to report today, however, that the earring jacket phenomenon has not only stood the test of time – but is actually gaining steam!
If you somehow missed this look, it’s really quite clever and a far cry for the 1950’s inspired earring jackets of the 1990’s. Today’s earring jackets include an ornamental piece that clips onto the post from behind the lobe— then hangs and follows the curve of the ear. Chic, yes?
And there are so many new options available for Spring! I’ve highlighted a few of my favorites above. But you can find this style at every major jewelry store, department store, and boutique. (One of my faves is Ross-Simons, which just opened in our local mall.)
