Argan Oil Hair Mask: 15 Minutes Beats Dry Hair

Argan Oil Hair Mask: Just 15 Minutes Beats Dry Hair According to Punxsutawney Phil this morning, we are in for six more weeks of winter. Good news for those of us who like to ski, snowmobile, or just spend a fun afternoon sledding. Bad news, however, for our hair! According to a recent article by author Sarah Kelsey in the Huffington Post article  “Winter Beauty: Prepare Your Hair For Cold Weather,” winter’s bad hair days can be blamed on, “humidifiers, heaters and all of those things we turn on in cold weather to keep us warm; they zap moisture from our immediate surroundings and thereby our locks, making them prone to dryness induced damage.” There are some easy ways to keep hair looking its best, however, even when temperatures plummet. One of my personal favorites is to enjoy a revitalizing hair treatment like InstaNatural’s Argan Oil Hair Mask.

Argan oil is the perfect oil for taming your tresses. It’s derived from the kernels of Moroccan argan trees and is well-known for its vitamin E and essential fatty acids, which add vitality and gloss to hair. In addition to Argan Oil, InstaNatural’s Hair Mask contains other restorative ingredients like Japanese Green Tea, Amino Acid Complex, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Jojoba Oil, Avocado Oil and Vitamin B5.

What makes a hair mask so different from a regular, everyday conditioner is the deep conditioning it provides. Unlike a daily conditioner, which only rests on the surface of a hair strand, a hair mask actually works its way inside the hair cuticle.

Weekly application of a hair mask can “impart shine, help with manageability and work to nourish the cuticle,” according to Joel Warren, master colorist and co-founder of Warren-Tricomi salons.

I use InstaNatural’s Argan Oil Hair Mask as part of a weekly “spa day” at home and have seen a great change in my hair. It’s softer and shinier, with less flyaways. Split ends are definitely less noticeable and my hair, which is over-processed, colored, straightened (and basically tortured!), just feels better.

The Hair Mask is easy to use. Simply apply hair mask to clean, towel-dried damp hair. Use a generous amount beginning at the scalp and working towards the ends. Leave the treatment in for 5 to 15 minutes (I go for the 15 minutes, but you may want to start out with less). Rinse and style as usual. I saw shinier, healthier looking hair the very first time I used the mask.

InstaNatural’s Argan Oil Hair Mask is available at InstaNatural for only $17.95 for an 8 oz. jar. InstaNatural products can be found in leading spas, salons and aesthetic centers in the US, as well as internationally in UAE, UK, Asia and Canada. Or, if you are an online shopper, you can purchase at Amazon.
