Suitcases with Style: Banish Boring Black Bags!

Suitcases with StyleAdmit it – it’s happened to you. The suitcase appears on the airport conveyor belt. You lunge for it and check the tag only to discover that it belongs to someone named Harvey Greene. Several more whiz by which you also diligently inspect – to no avail. And, as the sea of black suitcases travels merrily around the carousel, you despair of ever finding yours. That used to be me! But, a few years ago, I received a brand new set of suitcases with a style that was instantly recognizable. Cordovan colored leather in a stamped mock-croc pattern, it’s as elegant as the day I got it. (In fact, folks regularly stop me in the airport to ask which designer it is!)

Why settle for boring black luggage? A very quick search yielded a slew of great choices, each of which will be a standout on your next trip.

Here are some that I found interesting – from retro chic, to futuristic, to oh-so-girlie. These pieces intrigued me, but there are many, many more!

So tell me, what’s your luggage style?
