Since I was snowed in today, I thought it was a great opportunity to indulge in a little pampering! In addition to a much-needed manicure and a deep conditioning hair treatment, I was excited to try a new Grapefruit Gel Masque by Corrective Skincare.
The Grapefruit Gel Masque is part of the Grapefruit Micro Derm Home Treatment Kit or is available for purchase separately. I have been using the other two components – the Grapefruit Micro Derm Scrub and Grapefruit Better Moisture Cream – with tremendous success, so I was excited to try the masque next!
According to Corrective Skincare, the Grapefruit Gel Masque contains oils and extracts to soothe, repair and moisturize dry, damaged skin. The anti-oxidant properties contained in grapefruit also promote healthy cell metabolism and cell turnover. Just what my skin needed!
This masque comes in a gel format, so it’s very easy to use. Simply smooth a thin layer on clean skin. Leave for about 10 minutes (I took this opportunity to lie down and close my eyes for a bit – after all, I did shovel all morning!).
When I washed the gel away with warm water, my skin was bright, smooth and so soft!
A combination of conditioning ingredients – from yam extract, to Aloe Vera extract, to grapefruit oil – heal rough, dry skin, brightening the complexion. An added benefit is that this combination of ingredients also has an anti-inflammatory effect, which means skin appears tighter, newer and younger.
This masque is recommended for all skin types.
