Maybe it’s all those years of Spring vacations during school, or maybe I just need a break from winter. But at this time every year, I start daydreaming about a trip where parkas and mittens are not considered fashionable necessities!

This year we are headed to Orlando, and I think I am more excited than the kids! Not only will we visit Disneyworld and make a pilgrimage to the Harry Potter theme park, we’ll also spend a fair amount of time just chillin’ at the beach. Heaven!

A quick inspection of last year’s beachwear turned up some seriously chlorine-faded swimsuits and a couple of tired coverups (did they look this bad in August?). So, I am shopping for a few new items that will rev up my summer wardrobe and still leave me enough cash to spend while on vacation.

Every piece I’ve chosen is neutral and will integrate easily with other pieces from my Spring and Summer wardrobe. For example, the adorable coverup also works as a cute, casual summer dress. The sandals are perfect with everything from shorts to a sundress. And, the earrings will add a glamorous touch to just about everything!

Time to hit the beach!
