Of all the DIY projects I try at home, I love painting the most. Painting a room is an instant refresh. And, what a massive change you can make with just a can of paint in a new color!
Since the fall, I’ve been on a mission to repaint every room in the house. And, I’m almost there. I’ve been on something of a Fixer Upper binge (Joanna Gaines is my spirit animal), so I am using crisp white just about everywhere. And, the house has never looked so fresh and clean!
One of the most recent rooms I’ve tackled is my daughter’s bedroom. Since she is away at college, I thought it was the perfect opportunity to paint while she’s not underfoot. Of course, one thing often leads to another with home improvements…
And, now that the room is freshly painted, the bright yellow and lime green splashy print comforter that she’d loved as a pre-teen looks a bit shabby. Luckily, I just found a lovely 3-piece set in a soft, dove grey that perfectly matches her school colors.
