We had our first snowfall of the season today! The view from my window is so lovely, I (almost) don’t mind shoveling the driveway. What I do mind, however, is freezing as I head off to work dressed to the nines for an important meeting. Over the knee boots and cozy wool skirts help. But, the best winter accessory I own is a pair of heavy-duty winter tights from Berkshire Hosiery (well, I own quite a few pairs, to be honest!).
In the warm weather, I favor fun patterned stockings, sheer trouser socks, and nude stockings. But, for frigid East Coast winters, I stock up on heavy-duty winter tights. And, it makes all of the difference! Instead of opting for wool trousers every day, I can still wear my favorite dresses and skirts to the office, without shivering.
This winter, Berkshire Hosiery offers two new options that are not only high style and high quality, but are also priced incredibly well.
First, the Easy On! 60 Denier Velvet Touch Tights are wonderfully comfortable, making them an ideal choice for work. The super soft fabric has a high proportion of Spandex, providing lots of “give” (Panty: 78% Nylon, 22% Spandex and Leg: 88% Nylon, 12% Spandex). Plus, they have control and an easy fit waistband with cooling fibers.
The Velvet Touch Tights also have just the right amount of coverage. So, they work equally well for day or night. These winter tights are available in black and come in sizes Small – 2X. Retail $16 or, for a limited time, buy 2 pairs for $26.
Second, the Max Coverage MicroFiber tights from Berkshire are the ultimate winter weather tights. These offer total coverage and are so cozy, I can opt for short boots or flats with my skirts, and still stay comfortable while the winter winds howl.
These also have extra stretch ensuring no more “I Love Lucy moments” while rushing to get dressed in the morning. These winter tights also have ventilation and cooling fibers, for all-day comfort.
The Max Coverage MicroFiber winter tights are available in sizes Small, Medium and Tall in navy or black for just $13.50. Or, buy 2 pairs for $30.
