Travel Essentials for a Parisian Adventure!

Travel essentials inlclude this MaxLite3 luggage with easy spinners. Just over 10 pounds! My youngest daughter is spending the summer in France. So, we’ve been shopping a lot – and a chic new wardrobe is just the start. When she leaves at the end of May, she will have all off the travel essentials to “cross the Pond” stylishly, easily, and safely.

Travelpro Maxlite3 Luggage with Expandable Spinners is lightweight and easily maneuverable

Since international bags have a 50 pound weight limit, our existing, heavy leather luggage simply won’t do. To find the most lightweight, most easily maneuverable luggage possible, we turned to MaxLite.

The MaxLite3 Expandable Spinner Luggage weighs a mere 10.9 pounds. That means my daughter can pack all of the essentials (even shoes!).

And, it’s not only ultra lightweight, this luggage also features a 4-wheel spinner system. The spinners are a vast improvement over traditional rolling luggage because they allow a smooth, upright glide with 360 degree maneuverability.

The Honeycomb Framing System and foam construction provide exceptional durability. Plus, there are protective skid guards, corner guards, and crash-guard wheel housings to protect against potential damage during travel. From Travelpro on Amazon. Retail: $135.99.

Iserlohn Inflatable Travel Pillow Set provides in flight comfort

Since my daughter’s flight is well over 7 hours, a neck pillow is a must-have. A U-shaped design provides proper support when sitting in the upright position, so she won’t arrive in France with an aching head or neck.

This inflatable neck pillow by Iserlohn is super lightweight, unlike a traditional foam pillows. And, when deflated, it fits into a tiny carrying case. Plus, it takes a mere 3 seconds to full inflation. It’s even covered with a soft flocking surface, unlike inexpensive plastic, inflatable versions!

And, this Neck Support Pillow set includes not just the smart pillow, but everything she will need to make the flight as painless as possible. There’s a 3D Contour Eye Mask which is made of high density memory foam to block light perfectly. There are even earplugs in case she has chatty neighbors! From Islerlohn on Amazon: $12.99

Circo Mini Portable Real Time GPS Tracker is at the top of mom’s travel essentials list

Although she is meeting up with her classmates in France, this is my daughter’s first international trip solo. So, one of the top items on my must-pack list is a real time GPS tracker.

Although the college organizers have downloaded tracking on the students’ phones, I worry that her phone could be lost or damaged. So, this tracking device offers a “second layer” of protection.

This mini GPS tracker is tiny. But, if offers me huge peace of mind.

It’s even easy enough for a novice like me to use! You simply install the free app on your phone (there are easy step-by-step instructions) and set yourself up a follower. It works with the phone’s sim card right away.

Then, pop the tracking device into a carry on, handbag, or pocket. It’s so small and lightweight that it will even fit in a tiny travel wristlet.

But the best part for me is the panic button.  When the button is activated, the system sends an SMS text message to the phone owner, as well as a text to the app. From Foxcat on Amazon, Retail: $55.95.

Now that the tickets are purchased and my daughter is outfitted for a fabulous trip, I think we’d better get busy and start packing.
