Spring is breaking out all over! A trip last week to famed Longwood Gardens has inspired me to start dreaming about colorful flowers and shrubs, overflowing window boxes, and lush planters. And, although it’s a bit early to break out the garden rake, trowels, and hose just yet, I recently found another way to celebrate spring. It’s the spring jewelry trend you can’t ignore: pieces inspired by the season and adorned with twining vines and spring leaves!
My first clue that this look was going to be BIG was the Paloma Picasso olive leaf cuff at Tiffany. I’ve long been a fan of Paloma Picasso jewelry. The elegant lines of her signature “X” pieces are simply iconic.
But, her 18k gold, olive leaf adorned stunner is a budget-busting $12,500. (Shown above in sterling, it’s a mite more affordable at $1,200.)
Since I can’t afford either one, I began to look for more affordable options. And, I found them quickly!
Above are a few of my faves. But, you can find this look everywhere. Macy’s has a good selection of reasonably priced pieces under $50. Dillard’s also has a few that I adore including James Avery Abounding Vine Tear Drop Earrings for just $89. Or, visit Lord and Taylor for even more wonderful options.
Vine and leaf jewelry is a perfect way to get into the spirit of the season. And, you won’t even have to get your hands dirty.
