Lia Sophia Compass Necklace Giveaway

Lia Sophia Necklace Giveaway at Susan Said WHATJewelry incorporating compass imagery hearkens back to ancient times. The first magnetic compass was actually developed in the Chinese Han Dynasty, about 206 BC. And, in the Chinese culture, this symbol was thought to bring balance to the wearer. The compass symbolized harmony with the east, west, north, and south. Ancient, metaphysical symbolism aside, this Lia Sophia compass necklace simply looks beautiful. The compass medallion with black enamel with rhinestone detailing is classic. And, the silvertone chain is adjustable. It’s the perfect choice this fall with any open necked blouse or V-necked sweater.

And now, it can be yours!

One lucky Susan Said… WHAT?! reader will win this lovely necklace. And although I can’t promise it will help with Chinese fortune telling or Feng Shui, as the ancients believed, I can guarantee it’s a stunner. Retail $18. This giveaway is available for readers in the CONTINENTAL USA, aged 18+. Odds are determined by the number of entries received. Giveaway ends 10-31.

My favorite piece of jewelry is my sterling silver charm bracelet. It actually used to be 3 bracelets that belonged to my mother, my older sister and me. I had the bracelets made into a larger bracelet and then added all of the charms to it. My sister and I loved my mom’s charm bracelet when we were children because it had all of these movable charms, including a compass that spins and a spinning wheel that spun. My parents got both my sister and me charm bracelets when I was 8 and my sis was 12. My sister died unexpectedly 5 years ago, but she had given me her charm bracelet and my mother’s charm bracelet ( mom had given it to her) the week before she died. She thought I should combine them and give it to the first granddaughter (she had no children and I have one 27 year old son). My mom is 92 and still lives in her home. So, that bracelet means so much to me.

I have a simple but pretty necklace made with aqua blue sea glass that I just love. There really isn’t a story behind the necklace that makes it special I just love the look and style of the sea glass.

My favorite piece of jewelry is a tanzanite necklace. My husband gave it to me for my birthday after we’d only been dating for 3 months. It means a lot to me because it was his first actual “gift” to me, and he pretty much picked the perfect necklace, something I would’ve picked out for myself, and it was kind of a sign that he knew who I was and was meant to be with me.
