Scented candles are an easy way to keep the whole house fragrant!
Scented candles are one of my favorite gifts to give… and receive. They make the perfect present for a house warming, hostess or holiday gift, or birthday present.
I use scented candles throughout my home for various effects. Lavender in the bedroom promotes a restful sleep. Citrus or peppermint in the bathroom provides an invigorating way to start my day. And, vanilla in the kitchen adds such a homey feeling.
And, you don’t even need to light them to gain the aromatherapy benefits! A few tucked in drawer, cupboard, or closet will scent the entire space as well as a sachet. (I keep cinnamon candles in the drawer of my kitchen island, and my kitchen always smells vaguely of fresh baked Snickerdoodles!)
Recently, I discovered homegrown candle company based out of Little Rock, Arkansas called Mail a Candle. And, it instantly became a new favorite! The folks at Mail a Candle are professional candle makers and pour all of their candles by hand. These votive candles are even burning, long burning (14-16 hours) and full of fragrance.
A few of my top choices for votive candles include:
Blue Water. These candles bring the fresh invigorating aroma of spring to your home. A soft, clean fragrance. (24 candles, $36)
Black Amber. This is a musky, sultry scent with sandalwood back notes. ($24 candles, $15)
Tea Party. These candles have an uplifting scent that include herbal green tea and crisp, fresh citrus. (24 candles, $36)
Although these are my personal picks, the Mail a Candle online shop has so many interesting choices! From Grapefruit, to Red Mulberry, to Dickens Christmas, you are sure to find something you love.
And, the folks at Mail a Candle recognize that fragrance preference is very personal. So, they offer a 100% money back guarantee with no hassles. There’s even free shipping!
To see the entire line, visit Mail a Candle. (Remember, Christmas is only 141 days, 9 hours, and 37 minutes away!)
