Body Con Dress Doubles as Swimsuit Coverup

Body Con Dress Doubles as Swimsuit CoverupDressing my 18-year-old daughter is a little like dressing a Barbie doll – she looks amazing in everything! Case in point? The solid, strapless tube dress, pictured, by Simlu. This body con dress is extremely easy to care for. Made of 92% Nylon and 8% Spandex, it won’t crease, wrinkle, or stretch out, making it perfect for packing. Roll it in a ball, stuff it in a suitcase, and it comes out looking like new. Plus, it’s machine washable.

It’s also such a cute design, with a seamless look. But the ribbed design at the top and bottom hem give it a bit of definition. This dress molds to curves in all the right places.

It is labeled as a “one size fits most” and my daughter is normally a size 2 or 4 – it’s fits like it was made for her. I think it would work also for someone who a size 6, but probably not for anyone who wears a larger size.

Although this is marketed as a dress, you really can’t wear a bra underneath and the material is very thin (sort of like Spandex workout clothes). But, my daughter and I both agreed that it is the perfect swimsuit cover up. It’s small, so it fits easily into a beach tote. And, it gives such a nice, finished look. Pull it on over a bikini, pair with cute sandals, a big straw bag, and dangly earrings and you are ready to head straight from the beach to the boardwalk, a casual restaurant, or for a round of mini golf.

It is also reasonably priced (just $8.99 with Amazon Prime!) so you can pick up several in bold, bright shades like royal blue and fire engine red, or simple neutrals like classic black or chocolate brown.

To see the entire line, including dozens of cute jackets, cardis, tops, skirts and so much more, visit Simlu on Amazon.
