Lack of sleep. It started when my first child was born almost 20 years ago… and never ended. I think that most mothers have a hard time going “off the clock,” even when their children grow up. And in my case, the wrinkles around my eyes, dark circles, and puffiness only prove it. I have tried many, many remedies including reclining with wet teabags on my closed eyes – which provides a nice rest, but is completely ineffective visually. So, I was excited to be included in the Clia Premier Beauty promotion for a new natural, under-eye anti-aging gel with hyaluronic acid called All in One Eye Gel.
The All in One Eye Gel contains Matrixyl 3000, complex peptides and plant stem cells, jojoba, amino acids, organic aloe and other natural ingredients which help reduce puffiness and the appearance of fine lines and crow’s feet around the eyes.
I have been using the eye gel consistently, twice a day, for a week. It is a clear gel and has no discernible scent. I simply pat it on gently and allow it to air dry (which takes about 5 minutes).
A little goes a long way! Too much will leave skin feeling sticky, even after it has dried. So, a bit of trial and error may be needed to find just the right balance.
After just a week, my skin feels softer and smoother, especially in the morning. And, the lines around my eyes are definitely less pronounced.
Clia Premier Beauty also recommends this eye gel for use in eradicating dark under-eye circles, an affliction I have suffered with for years (even before the arrival of my children). But, I have not noticed a major improvement. In fairness to the product, however, I think mine have an insurmountable hereditary component, in addition to being a result of chronic fatigue.
Dark circles aside, this is a very nice anti-aging gel. I would recommend it, not only for those of us trying to erase the signs of aging, but also for younger women who want to stave off those signs for as long as possible!
