Lately, however, I have noticed that he is spending more time on his appearance (I suspect there is a girl). So, I am taking advantage of his newfound interest and quietly adding bits and pieces to his wardrobe to really amp up his style.
One of the easiest ways to (sneakily) add a bit of sophistication is through new accessories, like the gorgeous suede belt from Buyreal, pictured. This belt is right on trend in a warm brown shade, contrasting stitching, and classic “pin” style buckle. It’s simple, so my son doesn’t realize that it is actually a style statement!
In fact, this belt is very similar to a Ralph Lauren version I spied for $85 and one from the John Varvatos Collection at Nordstrom for $98.00 This one, however, is on sale through Amazon Prime for only $21.81!
Suede works with just about everything – from jeans and a tee, to khakis and a Tattersall plaid oxford. According to Jonny Mannah at The Trend Spotter in his recent article Men’s Belt Guide (How To Choose and Wear the Perfect Belt), “A brown or tan belt will afford great versatility when perfecting casual looks… Keep things simple with woven brown and suede tan belts for added texture when harnessing this humble accessory and opt for accompanying pieces in complementary colors and tones for a well-grounded look.”
Since 1990, Buyreal has specialized in high quality belts, wallets and accessories. To see the line on Amazon, visit Buyreal.
Now I just need to find a way to “misplace” my son’s ratty lacrosse sweatshirt…
