My daughter is incredibly artistic. Drawing, painting, sculpting – she does it all. And this fall, she has started taking a printmaking class. It’s been a real eye opener (who knew it was so hard?), but she has totally embraced the process.
One of her favorite pieces (pictured below) is her happy honeybee entitled “Buzz,” done in sunny yellow and black. So, when I saw the Happy Honeybee earrings (shown, above left) at NOVICA, I knew they were a gift she would absolutely love.
The button-style earrings are hand crafted in .925 sterling silver and measure .3 inches long and .5 inches wide. They are a perfect choice with any casual outfit and a real conversation starter!
Plus, the amazing level of detail and artistry is just the type of thing my daughter can personally relate to. These particular earrings were created by master artist Wadarat Supasirisuk of Thailand, exclusively for NOVICA.
NOVICA, in association with National Geographic, works together with talented artisan designers around the world to produce a huge range of treasures. The online, fair-trade website features more than 30,000 limited edition and one-of-a-kind handmade works of art, ranging from handmade jewelry, to ethical fashion, to home décor, to unique gifts.
NOVICA changes the lives of people in developing nations, helping each artisan, like Wadarat, earn personal recognition and real-world prices for their beautiful work.
The Happy Honeybee earrings are available on Amazon. The List Price is $40.95, but with Amazon Prime, you pay only $22.99. And, that’s what I call… sweet!
