When I was a teen, I suffered the occasional breakout, which I ruthlessly quelled using harsh cleansers, scrubs, and creams. I even used soap on my face several times a day. It wasn’t until I was in my 30’s when the realization dawned that I needed to be kinder – much kinder – to my skin!
