Ahh… If only it was that simple. For example, I love Chanel suits, Dooney & Burke bags, and Prada heels — unfortunately, my fashion allowance doesn’t love the pricey tags!
To stretch my budget as far as it can possibly go, I accessorize. Interesting belts, bold jewelry, fun hats and fascinators, and of course, loads of beautiful scarves add color, drama, and verve to my strategically simple wardrobe.
This spring, I have a favorite new scarf by FRAAS called Mystical Waters (pictured) to add to my growing collection. The striking colors are right on trend and I love the painterly, watercolor effect of the abstract print. Plus, this scarf is so sheer and lightweight, I can wear it even on the hottest summer days!
Because the scarf is so large (40×72 inches), it can also double as a shawl for cool summer nights (or air-conditioned movie theatres!) or as a beach cover-up/sarong. Retail $48
In addition to the beautiful blue print shown, the Mystical Waters scarf is also available in a stunning coral option. These are part of the new spring 2013 collection by FRAAS, aptly named Mystical Coast.
The Mystical Coast collection includes a huge selection of lightweight spring and summer styles in cotton, modal, silk, viscose chiffon, acrylic, and tropical weight wool. Patterns include solid, ombre, floral, fruit, stripe, plaid, dotted, splatter-paint, animal, sea and abstracts — all which tell the compelling summer story of life of the jungle. Red hot!
The Mystical Coast Collection retails between $28 to $130.

DISCLAIMER: This is NOT a paid post. I did receive, however, a Mystical Waters scarf from FRAAS in order to fully evaluate the product. Regardless, I only recommend companies, products or services which I believe will be good for my readers.
